Garden by the Bay flowers in June

One of my favourite places in Singapore is the Garden by the Bay and in particular the Flower Dome where the good vibes emanating from the flowers, plants and trees make for better therapy than shopping. The conservatorium is cool because the flowers thrive in that kind of environment as most of them belong to countries in temperate zones. Although you do see flowers that are in our parks like hibiscus and flowers found in our gardens like roses, they are bigger and more brilliant than what we are used to seeing. There are many varieties, some of which are uncommon such as a lilac-coloured rose or hibiscuses the size of saucers.

See the slideshow of the flowers.
